2024-11-01 14:07:20 +0000 UTCYou brought up that Ichigo should be much more powerful than Uryu and I think you're right when they both did their big attacks, Ichigo's getsuga jujisho destroyed Uryu's attack but Ichigo aimed it just to nullify the attack not to hit Uryu, because Ichigo's attack just blew right past him, that's why Uryu called Ichigo naive.

This would logically mean that the Soul King foresaw all of the future events that make up the Bleach series. If the Soul King did not want to die, then he could have easily have made countermeasures against Yhwach since he knows what is going to happen. The fact that he did not do so gave Yhwach the impression that the Soul King chose to comply with Yhwach's plans and die. Thus, the fact the Soul King's right arm came up to interfere with Yhwach's plan confused the hell out of Yhwach since he was sure that the Soul King's will was to die. Yhwach then reasoned that the right arm must have a will separate from the Soul King for it to act this way.

2024-10-30 03:42:33 +0000 UTCWhoo boy; that one flash right at the end; I know what that means and I can't wait until next week XD (Both because there's something *I* want to see and something else that Lucky is going to go mad about lol) Also: in terms of the new stuff this ep; Honestly most of the entire episode lol. In the manga, Ichigo and Uryu have the stare down; then we switch scenes, and then literally 2 pages later Ichigos falling off of the castle. It's always been seen as one of the biggest missed moments that we never got to see Ichigo and Uryu have a real fight here. There's quite a few parts of TYBW manga that had to be skimmed over because Kubos health was abysmal at this point in his life. (The amount of hospital trips the guy was making on a regular basis was insane; he's openly admitted that he was not sure he would survive to finish the series, so he had to cut corners and rush the story as much as possible). That's kinda why this adaptation is so special; it's allowing Kubo to truly realise all the ideas that he wanted to draw but couldn't.
