Not much in the way if a face change; but she certainly had more curves back then~ Incidentally; i remember talking *way* back during the Arlong arc because you kept on calling them ‘mermen’. This is one if those things thats clearer in the actual Japanese, but “fish man” and “merman” are not the same thing in One Piece; theyre actually different races. Fishmen are a direct hybrid where eveything js sort of mixed together, whereas merfolk are top half human-ish, bottom half fish. As such you can have male merfolk and female fishmen. (Also the “two-tailed cat” thing Usopp mentions is a rather famous Japanese legend. Its said that if a cat is allowed and able to live long enough, they will eventually evolve unto a superior being called a nekomata; a “cat” that walks on two legs, has two tails, has above-human intelligence, the ability to summon fireballs, and also the power to enslave and control the souls if the dead. Japanese mythology is weird sometimes…)
