So that's why that 'wildling' guy immediately knew Jon Snow as a bastard. We did see Ned writing a letter to Stannis. He told Stannis everything for why latter is the rightful king now and should come and take the throne. We saw prick Joffery's siblings this ep. Younger brother and sister who Tyrion interacted with. Jorah Mormont is the guy's name who is with Denerys Targarian. As you know he disgraced himself by getting into smuggling and so he is is a wanted man in Westeros. Leader of the Night's Watch is Jeor Mormont, whom Jon is serving as his steward. Jeor said his son has disgraced the family name and so he couldn't pass his family sword onto his son. That's why he gave Jon his sword instead.
