Only real critique I have about this arc; it really could've been so much better if they were more conservative with their info dumps lol As for the Ouga reveal: you got to keep in mind it was always a mystery in the Manga why Kawaki has the number 9 tattooed on his face, while the Inners that we saw only had 1 - 6. When Deepa was revealed as number 7 in the anime; everyone was waiting to see what the anime also reveal what final Inner was going to be like; but they never appeared until now. This was a long time coming for sure.

2023-09-23 12:16:44 +0000 UTCThe next arc isn't really manga canon for the main story. It's an adaptation of the Sasuke Retsuden novel which did get a manga adaptation of its own. So there's no confusion it's a Sasuke side story that takes place in the past before Momoshiki's attack in the chunin exams. It's like a big flashback arc similar to Itachi's in Shippuden during the war arc.
