Thanks so much for doing this! Also, your pronunciation was perfect! I had exactly the same reaction as you when I first saw this. It's so mesmerizing, I agree. Regarding the band, yes, this is more-or-less their usual style. They describe their music as "augmented history." I believe it's filmed in Sweden, though I could be wrong. The language is a reconstructed proto-Germanic dialect. The language as it was originally spoken is lost to time, wiped out by the great migrations of the pre-classical period and the conquests of the late Roman Empire. So the band members have attempted to rebuild it using archaeological and historical evidence, with some artistic license. The band's name translates literally as "healing," and they want to promote a return to the fundamental unity that binds all humans and every creature on the planet into one family. Definitely something that I think the veterinarian vocation encapsulates. Their Wikipedia page is really informative, if you're still curious. :) I find their music so calming and centering. It gives me hope. Thanks so much for reacting to this! I know it was very, very different from the music you usually react to, and I genuinely appreciate it. You have such an open and reflective spirit! Keep up the great work ^___^

They sing in an old norsk language, taking their lyrics from medieval rune writings which were found in Norway. Indeed this is a typical song for their style, and I also think it's really enchanting! You should definitely check out more of them, for example the song "Krigsgaldr" you will love it!
