Well, I want to partially disagree. Eren did attack them, but he did it only after Marley (in front of the whole world) declared war on Paradis. There was no place to negotiate or even talk, Marley already made their move towards destroying all of Paradis. I truly think that Eren was waiting to see what Willy would say and when he told everyone that they need to kill all of our guys - Eren was like "Well, fuck it, I have no other choice now, you asked for this war, so get it"

1. Rip Udo and Zofia. Rip to the other innocent civilians and children. 2. At this point, the story is completely messed up. No-one's good or bad at this point. This has basically just became a battle for survival. 3. The war hammer sure is unique and powerful, but Eren's gotten smarter it seems to be able to pick up on it's trick that quickly. 4. This plan of Eren's is totally f*cked up. The souls of the dead will haunt him forever. 5. Marley and Paradis, both are to be blamed equally.

So those little children who knows nothing about this deserved to be killed too? It is the same mindset as Marleyans like " oh you're ancestors did evil things so you all need to die". Hence the Paradise people are no better than Marleyans.

satisfying to see Marley get fucked after everything :D had so many chances to make things right, never cared, instead decided to become the new Eldian Empire, thus becoming even worse, as they say you reap what you sow :D the most logical approach here would be to eradicate Marley and then negotiate with the rest of the world since Marley were fucking them up too, just prove to them that the new generation wants things to change and that mutual cooperation would be very beneficial since further conflict would only destroy them all :)

Like you said this could have gone another way if Reiner decided to go back in the beginning. However, let's not forget he was just a kid, he did not know the eldians at that time and if he went back the Marleyans could have killed him. What Eren is doing right now is not exactly what Reiner did in the beginning cause Eren knows the whole truth and he has been living for months with the Marleyans. Plus he is definitely not a kid right now. So idk who the actual vilains are. There are no vilains or heroes at this point. No good side or bad side.

That was a great reaction, and now paradis are actual villains, because this time they know the whoole truth (unlike Marley or Reiner or the rest of the world) yet decided to attack and kill innocents.
