3. Kakashi greatly praised Guy's Dad in this episode. A thing to remember here was that, by the time Kakashi had this conversation with Guy, Sakumo was already dead. So Kakashi was already supposed to be cold and distant here, and yet he still took the time off his day and despair to listen to Guy and kinda cheer him up. Goes to show Kakashi still cared for his friends and was willing to talk with a friend about a very sensitive topic (dad topic - very sensitive for Kakashi). Huge Respect. 4. During this entire episode, we saw that Guy kept on imposing self rules upon himself, however when Duy taught his son the art of the 8 inner gates, it was Duy who imposed the self rule on Guy this time around, and not Guy himself... That kinda shows the sweet and emotional sentiments a parent has for his kid, because 8 Gates is a deadly technique.

Kakashi Hatake

1. In the previous episode, when Kakashi saved Guy from those two adults, Sakumo was just standing there in the background looking at his son beating those 2 shinobi's. If only Kakashi wasn't a prodigy we might have got to see Sakumo stepping in and show his skills for once, however Kakashi was a prodigy and Sakumo knew that, he knew enough, to trust his son and leave it to him, to take care of those 2 shinobi's, and if need be, Sakumo would have entered into the battle himself, though he would have made short work of them. Just a wish, but it would have been cool to see this actually happen. How I wish the writer had went with this. 2. Back in the previous filler arc, we saw Kakashi climb the cliff with one hand. When Guy asked him about that, Kakashi mentioned that it was a habit of his. Here in this episode we saw where that habit comes from. Guy's unyielding will to never stop pushing forward probably inspired Kakashi to start training even harder. As a result kakashi picked up on the one handed cliff climbing. One more instance of Kakashi doing a one handed cliff climbing was in OG Naruto ep 56, if I remember correctly. Back then Sasuke had left the hospital to train under Kakashi for his fight against Gaara during the Chunin exams. It was in this episode where we saw Kakashi do the one handed cliff climbing for the 1st time and also in this episode we saw Kakashi use the 1st inner gate.
