OVA's titan was Ymir's believer. Ymir and Ilse look alike. That's why she spoke "Ymir's people" "Ymir-sama" "welcome" Exatly same as Conny's case in the village.

I think you’ll understand now why when that Titan saw Ilse’s face it stopped and said ”person of Ymir. Lady Ymir. Welcome.” and bowed in supplication. and also why it seemed so so so upset for not being able to stop itself from killing her
