DEATH NOTE EPISODE 37 REACTION! THE FINAL! ( "New World" ! )

The fact that Light’s exponentially growing hubris led to his demise is... truly, so divine. In two senses of the word actually lol what with him believing himself a God then actually being killed by a real one. I think that’s kind of what that first Rule card in the episode was implying as well. Humans all die. One way or another. Light really did believe he was god. But Light my guy, you’re not a God. Just an interesting human.

Thanks Lucky for these amazing reactions! Also the scene with Misa at the end there was after she found out Light died and it was implied she committed suicide by jumping off the roof of that building which makes it even darker lol.

But wow, this ending brings me back to years ago when I first watched this. I hated Light cause he killed L, but seeing this again definitely opens ones eyes to how deep the show is.

Seeing how Demon Slayer already took Death Note's place, I'll ask if Code Geass (a nice replacement for Death Note) could be done when you finish One Punch Man. It's honestly worth it.

Lucky when was this poll done? If it's from when we voted for death note then I suggest you do a new poll. I would really want you to see Code Geas sometime (preferably to replace death note) as it's very similar to death note so you'll be replacing this with a similar anime. I won't give out spoilers but it's very similar so you should put that on your list for voting. Another huge one would be Attack on Titan. Idk when you did that poll but I'll bet AoT would win if it was on the list.

I want to say that if Mikami had not disobeyed Light, Yagami would have won. Only due to the fact that Mikami decided to act on his own, Near was able to find a real notebook. In general, Light could have won right away if he hadn't killed the fake L on TV at the very beginning. Then no one would even understand what country Kira is in and whether he exists at all. Most likely, people would decide that it was a real god who began to punish evil. In fact, Light had a lot of mistakes. Even so, finding the owner of the notebook in the real world would be almost impossible.
