Hi everyone, new to the scene and this community. I love your reaction vids to this. Naruto is my all time favs, as it is to so many others! You do a great job, well done for taking your time to creating awesome content and a community for everyone to watch and enjoy! Keep up the fantastic work. This anime the writing, the manga, the creators, have blown my mind, to be able to relate this to real life lessons and events. This will forever be timeless to me. The details are amazing and sometimes small things can be missed or even be interpreted in different ways. Like the scene with Naruto and Kakashi, he makes the remark that he‘s getting "heavier". To which really hit me myself, to mean that he has to now shoulder more responsibility, the hopes and dreams of everyone who shares the same vision of the future to peace. The weight of the world is on his shoulders to make that change.

First, so glad you're okay after your accident! As I mentioned way back in episode 125 with the reveal of Pain. Pain/Nagato is the best antagonist, not villain, in anime. He makes Naruto rethink his entire philosophy and outlook on life by being the same yet opposite of the protagonist is the show. Nagato/Pain is the most well written character and his final words are so poetic! Then, with how Naruto returns to the Leaf, it feels like this could have been the series finale and been perfect. This arc is easily peak Naruto! So glad you enjoyed it as much as you did!

I feel you are missing the point for this turn. Nagato grew up in the war times and had lost ppl dear to him. He said he didn't believe Jiraiya anymore after losing Yahiko but Nagato never thought that Jiraiya still actually did have faith in him to the point where he was practically the main character in his book. Naruto said it himself. If Naruto had lost his way, then the story would different and indeed, that's what happened to Nagato. He changed and he realized that he had killed ppl for his own selfish beliefs without thinking that others are suffering just like him. But other than that, there's more to comprehend from this if you are willing to look deeper. I'm just telling it to you as to how I see it.

As touching as Nagato's sacrifice was, I still just absolutely HATE the way Naruto talk no jutsu's him in the space of five minutes. Nagato's lived the ENTIRETY of his life with one goal and a set of realistic ideals shaped by the environment he grew up in and yet Naruto pulls up and is like "oh hey bro btw did you know that Jiraiya based the main character of his first book off of you lol" and that's enough for him to do a complete 180 on his ideals? I remember thinking that was dumb even back in middle school when the manga chapters were still coming ou.

And this jutsu comes with the ultimate cost ... it considerably shortens your life, so he couldn't take any wrong steps considering that he was ,,the savior of the world". 3.
