I actually own a copy of the memoirs of David Webster. He was so awesome and unique a brave man too. Since he was a student at Harvard, he could’ve skipped being a private in the infantry and gone straight to being an NCO. However, he volunteered as a private so that he could document and write about the war from the frontline perspective. I also own the memoirs of Dick Winters and a book written on Ronald Spiers by Jared Fredrick. You guys should check his channel out. It’s called Reel History. He does watch alongs as a history professor and deciphers fact from theatrical liberty.
