Don't 4get The Wire is bio based vs doc so theres embellishments. The HBO series 'We Run This City' is how it ends. Bubbs/Possum passed in 92. Hes not depicted in ths doc. Ppl n The Corner share their stories n near real time. What u call 'slow' is real life not Hollywood fiction. David Simon is the news reporter in The Wire. He was assigned to Homicide. He followed Possum for yrs evn did his obituary. He retired, wanted to share his appreciation for the community so he recruited Charles. He was the Hollywood draw for the Black community at the time. He basically blackmailed David by agreeing to promote The Wire only if David got The Corner greenlit. Charles was tryin to get it picked up with no success. David agreed & the rest is history that fuels Hollywood today. Strike validated! FYI Heroine/Dope is an opiate (sniffed or shot). Coke/Crack is Cocaine(sniffed/smoked). Dope comes in stamped bags, Crack/Coke in vials or plastic wrap based on locale. They r NOT the same. These r Dope Fiends. They just may abuse Coke & Crack. Curt was rite. Real heroin hasn't seen the block since the 70s...Blue Magic to be xact. FFW to today NO drug on the streets is the real drug. Whn ppl say what they took aftr ODing or entering rehab its NVR what they thnk its ALWAYS FENTANYL & cut. Rita givs hits to some ppl bc they can't do it for thmselves for various reasons. As u see...Curts hand is abbessed. Some ppl have blown veins where they can reach. Others hav to get fixd in hidden spots that they can't reach (hiding frm fam wrk etc). Some just like the way Rita does it. Very few just don't know how. WARNING‼️Ritas sores r THE WORST & there WILL BE CLOSE UPS. Its crazy how y'all c thm & immediately thnk prosthetics. I kno SOME r actors but seeing ths sht my whole life nvr allowed the thought of makeup to enter my mind until yall said it. For us watchin live every Sunday b4 OZ, ths sht was just as real as opening the front door or seeing a family member walk by the couch. The last Rita I knew became a hospital & health dept social worker. She passed in her 70s last yr (Kidney Failure NOT the ovr 10yr undetected HIV she got in the 80s). And its the same Wire corner. If u evr hav to get off 95 for gas comin out that tunnel GO RIGHT lol Or else...Fayette & Monroe will hit that azz lol Lets GOOO‼️
