I find it funny Bralik had such a big issue with the pier scene when it's been happening in the show season one they kept messing with the pit people season two they went back into the pit after the kid got killed and the cop harassed the dock workers thing happen and because it's faster to grab everyone then investigate innocent people get involved

Also just a few things the guy Omar shot was the guy that set up Orlando in season one he went to jail for three years so he got back around season 4 and Marlo was the man so he had to do what he had to do

There was NO jury tampering in terms of financial incentives in the Clay Davis case.
Clay just played up his "Man of The People" role that he went on a radio tour & even had former Mayor Royce stand tall on his behalf for.

Kenard was calling Omar gimpy mf or whatever it was, not Michael. Anyway, loved the reaction and can't wait for more.

I'm gonna get yelled at for this, but this is my least favorite version of Bubs. He's way too corny and every line sounds like he's trying to get quoted.

This episode had me thinking that Clay Davis would make a great pro wrestling manager.

Clay on the stand mispronounces Roland Park (an old-money, mostly white neighborhood on the north edge of the city where the best private schools are) and calls Bond "Obonda" to twice insinuate that Bond isn't "black enough" to represent the people. The irony of Clay clumsily invoking a Greek tragedy is that Bond actually suffers from the tragic flaw of hubris, insisting on 1) taking the Clay case for himself instead of letting the DOJ try him in Fed court and 2) showboating by making himself lead prosecutor despite Rhonda reminding him he hasn't tried a case in a long time

Clark Johnson, who plays Gus, also was a detective in Homicide. Detective Lewis. Wow never knew Munch was in the X files, though I never watched that all that much

Formal better get all the crowns when he cashes in his next prediction. He made a prediction I've never heard anybody make on all my years of watching Wire reactions. I'll elaborate more once it happens.

Did you guys catch the cameo by the late Richard Belzer in the bar? He was playing Detective John Munch. Munch was a cop in a series called "Homicide: Life on the Streets". Then he played the same Detective Munch on the various "Law and Order" shows for years, Munch having left Baltimore and joining the NYPD. And he also played Detective Munch on "The X Files". So it is confirmed that "Homicide", "The X Files", "The Wire", and "Law and Order" are in the same universe. A fucking shared universe before the MCU. That shit was mind-blowing when I saw that.
