Tbh, I think the real power of the Valor Bard will be seen when we put Spirit Guardians atop True Strike and can see multi target damage rolls.

2024-11-05 20:19:46 +0000 UTCDoesn't multi-classing into Warlock slow your normal spell progression for the Eldritch blast build.? So you couldn't get foresight until level 18? I think you may need to reevaluate your items past that warlock dip, since it is going to throw everything else off by a level. I think after level 11 the progression is a bit off, the Bard level 14 feature isn't going to come online until level 15. Sorry if I am wrong here.

2024-11-03 16:22:09 +0000 UTCYes CME doesn't need a ban it just needs a nerf to it's upcasting. It should be the same as Spirit Shroud (1 die per 2 levels) which Chris suggested in this video as well as his first video about the spell.

2024-11-03 16:19:42 +0000 UTCi feel like a lot of dms forget they can easily dispel the spell, focus fire to break concentration, they forget that they know exactly what they players are gonna use 😭 but personally i wouldn’t use 6th level n up on this spell cuz it’s just outrageous

Cause it looks like until you start upcasting it at the last half of tier 3...it's a great way to keep your damage comparable to your other damage dealers in the group. I don't know how unique this is, but i think I could count on 1 hand how many sessions (not campaigns) I've played at tier 3+. I'm always kinda worried about these worse case scenario panics influencing people's expectations of spells and abilities that will never actually get to see this level of play. Cause I don't play with folks who actually study d&d...they get their info from some clickbait and never confirm much beyond that...and it's hard to argue with a DM that makes choices like that. I wish I had better options for a play group, but I also wish there could be a more comprehensive release of information beyond sitting through 30-40 minute videos of Chris doing math. That's a hard sell for most casuals. What's the happy medium for convincing people like that???

I think it was one of the warlocks. Sorry I can't be more specific...I started binging these a couple days ago and it all blurs together. >.<
