Hey Chris, it seems to me that they did in fact fix the Wish/Simulacrum. Let me know your thoughts. Wish says that after casting Wish, you take 1d10 necrotic damage per level of spell that you cast until you take a Long Rest - BUT your Simulacrum is unable to take Long Rests. So it could be created but would quickly destroy itself with spell casting.

I was referring to the spells that differentiate the wizard from the sorcerer. Spells like wall of force, simulacrum, magic jar and contingency (there's more, but those are off the top of my head). Some were rebalanced slightly, but none were really fixed (except forcecage. Ooof)

This is the problem with Hunter's Mark that WotC still just doesnt get. The new Ranger FORCES you to use it, and then it doesnt allow you to cast anything else because of concentration. I hate Hunter's Mark and hate that it isnt even optional now.

In one Video where you talked with another min-maxer youtuber you mentioned that there are a few (I think it was 4 or 5) significantly very powerful spells in the new book. Did you cover them here? I can't seem to find it anywhere... which spells were you refering to there? .-.

It looks like Mord's Sword also adds your Spellcasting Ability Modifier to the damage on hit. Still not an amazing 7th level spell

How does Invisibility work with the new Hiding and Searching rules? If all Hide does if give you the Invisible condition, but it allows you to be found via Search surpassing your DC....isn't the Invisibility spell just an unbreakable Hide?

Ryan Sturgeon

What about truepolymorph and shapechange? Can you still cast spells of the creature that you polymorphed? Any other insight?

vladimir Pedrosa

When you cast Wish are you not casting the other duplicate spell with the magic action? For me it seams that casting the another spell in the time of casting wish will prevent the Simulacrum loophole

vladimir Pedrosa

They did not change that part of the wish spell

Treantmonk's Temple

Edit: Nevermind, they didn't I'm going through the videos now so you may talk about it later, but regarding Simulacrum, did they maybe change Wish? If Wish now said something like "You immediately cast the chosen spell" that would actually close Matryoshalacrum problem I think
