I agree Silvery Barbs great for Bards who don't have Shield. And unless I am mistaken, since it's an Enchantment spell, it's also a tremendous choice for Fey Touched on multiple other classes that also don't get Shield. But I do agree with Chris that, while strong, it's not game-breaking.

Good to know my assumptions were wrong, thanks for correcting me

You can actually cast more than one levelled spell on your turn. The restriction is actually that if you cast a spell with a bonus action, any other spell you cast on your turn must be a cantrip.

Also side note, I've personally used it and love it as a new Bard option, Bards don't get the Shield spell as an option naturally, so this is a big boost to their spell selection, I've had loads of fun with it so far as like once and awhile spell cast, because this is also my only Reaction spell in my progression so far, just a halfing Paladin 2 Swords Bard 3, thought you'd appreciate where I'm going with this character lol

You sir are amazing, I appreciate all the content on YouTube, and alot of your builds have opened up my PC's eyes to what they can do and accomplish, but I felt like I had to finally subscribe due to all the wisdom you've bestowed upon my gaming table Chris, now that intros are out of the way, let me show you how silvery barbs is balanced (I left a comment on the YouTube video) but in essence you can only cast one leveled spell on your turn, most people overlook this for reactions, because normally that happens outside your turn, however even if you cause the trigger to happen with a Disintegrate spell, you cannot immediately cast Silvery Barbs cause it's still your turn
