Hello.
It seems I have already forgotten what it is to extract resources from games. That is, for example, in the case of gta v, I already know 100% that I will immediately have all the coordinates, sizes, textures and names. Here I had to take four 3D pictures, combine them in 3ds max, select the appropriate size, then find each original model in Umodel. Also, in unreal, each model has some kind of material, and not a direct indication of the texture, in the end it took me at least a week to prepare one.
I wanted to make two small maps in a month: an office and a snack bar. In the end, I only managed to do the office; a lot of time and nerves were spent searching for the necessary resources; I spent a particularly long time looking for sounds and several specific models.
In general, I present a small map. This is Wayne Office from the game Batman: Arkham Knight.
This is completely my port. I even implemented hidden storage for the batman suit (opened like in the game through the bust on the shelf).
The only thing I didn’t get myself, so to speak, was a spherical image of the environment, which I used as skybox textures. It was taken from Rigid3d from open3dlab. All sizes fully correspond to the original (Wayne has a mania for gigantism).
The doors to the balcony do not open like in the original, it seemed to me that in the original they do this very strange, considering that the door models have hinges. I made their opening a classic.
The map is compatible with Gmod and SFM. But for SFM you will need to use material patches. I left the instructions in the archive.
