I had so much fun working on this! I tried a new coloring technique that provides more depth to the shading, besides smoother lights. Basically, I fill a layer with dark gray in multiply mode and then I use the eraser here and there (in airbrush mode with about 40-50% opacity and flow) to create the lights. I know a lot of people use that technique to color their art, so I wanted to give it a try.

2023-09-16 08:00:28 +0000 UTCI like the muted yet vibrent colour palette. She kinda seems to be a bit plain looking yet highly attrective at the same time. Kinda like the subtle alternative to highly spruced up characters like the fox mom and Laura, who obviously don colourful make up. Mentioning those three in a row really makes me thirsty for a mom themed comic. Imagine those three (or moar moms) going clubbing and homing in on one shy guy that's been dragged along by friends, hiding in a corner, trying not to be noticed....
