This episode gave me all the feels. Anxiety, happiness, stress but ultimately I was relieved to see the boys persevere over another challenge!

2024-08-24 05:31:32 +0000 UTCSooooo there's some people who say that Yoongi isn't bi and that he wasn't saying he was bi in that song, but he has literally TWO songs where he references sending both men and women to Hong Kong with his "tongue technology." Sending someone to Hong Kong is a euphemism for orgasms in South Korea, and "tongue technology" has a double meaning for (the obvious) and also for his rap skills. A lot of ARMY including me see this as Yoongi expressing his sexuality through his music. But South Korea is a conservative enough nation that for an idol to come out of the closet, it could be extremely detrimental to their career. There's also an interview where Yoongi was asked about his type, and he said it wasn't limited to women. But then there are Korean ARMY who say that's a mistranslation, as well as other Korean ARMY who say it wasn't a mistranslation. I personally am more inclined to believe the Korean ARMY who don't see it as a mistranslation, just because of how conservative South Korea is, I wouldn't be surprised if there are a lot of fans who would refuse to believe that Yoongi could be bisexual. Out of respect to the boys, I don't love speculating on their sexual identity on public forums, but I personally think that Yoongi is bisexual. So this rap where he says he's sending both men and women to Hong Kong is meaningful for me, as a bisexual kpop girlie.
