Guess who ^^

Hi everyone. Welcome to another Monday post :) Can you guess who is in the picture above?

Around this time last year is when I received my first drawing tablet. Actually the second I ordered but the only one I received. You see my first purchase from Huion's shop got stopped at the Custom's Office asking me to pay another 200 euro for tax and "procedure expenses" since the item was shipped from China (item's price being 450 euro). So, long story short, after a few phone calls I told them to shove it up a dark place and return it to sender. Communication with Huion was OK and they received it back refunding me. At that point I was banging my head on the wall. After over a month since I pressed the "buy" button, I had no tablet and a ragged psychology :(

But, this is when I found a shop in Slovenia that was shipping inside the EU. Spoke with owner and he is a good guy, even told me I didn't have to pay tax, so the thing was even cheaper than the purchase from China, lol.. go figure. So after 10 days the item is literally at my door. You can imagine the excitement when my GT-156HD (V1) arrived. I set it up and my journey begun. 

Since then I learned lots and I keep improving every day, making my drawings a little better every time. I even opened Patreon to help me in that. Even though for months I didn't have a single soul in here, it did make me accountable to keep pushing. Not that I wouldn't otherwise, but It did sure improve my pace and consistency in learning. Back when I started drawing at young age there was no internet. So all I learned was from copying comics, Asterix, Iznogood, Conan, Marvel Comics and lots more. But now thankfully there is a plethora of material on the internet and many talented people to follow and ... "assimilate" their techniques and secrets ^^ . Before I bury you any further under a mountain of text, I will stop here and append you to read my little interview with HentaiFR.net  https://hentaifr.net/badspider-un-grand-coquin-qui-a-de-lhumour-et-qui-dessine/ . That was a couple months back but only recently was published. At the bottom of it there is a link to read it in English. The title translates to "BadSpider, a great rascal who has humor and who draws!" lol, rascal ^^. Fitting title for me. Hehe, anyway. Here is an image behind the scenes where all the magic happens .

Yes that's my hand and yes that's my special drawing glove (the winter one). A thick cut out sock ^^. Lets my hand glide better and is useful for the 18C temperature I woke up this morning at in my room (my drawing & game studio I mean). Behind that is my old as f**k Samsung monitor that needs replacement sometime soon as it's become blurry and colors are off.

Well anyway. Out of the blue it seems that this page has two new supporters since yesterday. Which I warm-heartedly welcome and I hope they like what they see, stick around and make this place more lively :)

Now, speaking of "stick" as "sticking things in", like a finger for example in a... box (as in the opening image). I feel there were a few places unexplored in Akabur's "Princess Trainer", and since I love creating fanart, I very much feel like "filling these gaps". Oh, you would too??? ^^

So the above box and circles setup, may remind you of certain characters but for now this is all it actually is. Just Boxes and Circles and Lines. If your mind tells you otherwise, well.. you better go check that. 

I plan on creating a few more of these PT fanarts (as I freakin love this game), in parallel to the "Battles" which (I inform the new guys) are currently running and you can vote here for the next one. Keep in mind, winner advances and I draw the loser.

I expect this fanart sketch to evolve to a full image inside this week, or worst case next Monday if I go for a "safe" version as well. In parallel I continue work on my upcoming Tomb-Raider parody game.
