This movie had me at the edge of my seat the ENTIRE TIME. There's never a dull moment. And Keanu is the absolute best, especially with Sandra Bullock! Their chemistry is like nothing I've seen before on screen. They seem like they're actually in love. I would looooove to see more movies with them.

2025-08-08 21:13:48 +0000 UTCThis movie never gets old. I watched it a few years ago, and then watched Twister a few days after (90’s action movie binge), and I could immediately tell that the score for both movies was done by the same person, they both sound so good.

I can go either 80s or 90s, depending if I want my main character to randomly know Kung fu and have uzis(80s) or giant explosions, and a huge 1 liner to regular dialogue ratio(90s). Sandra and Keanus chemistry is top notch. I read somewhere (might be a rumor), that they both had crushes on each other during filming and found out about it many years later in life. They said they may have got together if they known about their mutual crush at the time. As far as movies, the mission impossible series (if you havent seen it) is like Speed and has tech and intrigue. Thanks!

Also some great action 80s and 90s action movies are Commando, The Running Man, Bloodsport, Demolition Man and Timecop just to name a few. Some of those are also cross genre also. There are just so many good movies you should watch to list them all but these are some of my favorites
