Omg this is it! The last one!
Can you believe we're here already! I honestly can't believe it... and I'm so fricken sad we're at the end. This has been the most incredible movie journey, and I'm so happy you were all here to join me for it. The movies will forever hold such a special place in my heart now. And I still get to read the books!!! Thank you for being with me through this adventure.
❤️❤️❤️ Love you all so much ❤️❤️❤️
Yes! It hits me in a way I didn't think a movie ever could.

Watching these movies again in my 30s as a mother I cry harder now. I feel for all the trauma
and loss Harry has to go through. I love these movies even more.

It was wonderful watching these movies with you. Especially this last one. Severus's memories bring me to tears each time. Such a bittersweet ending saying goodbye to these characters.
I'm gonna mention again, since you asked about another series to watch again. I will once again say you would love The Walking Dead. I hope you both watch it sometime soon.

I have seen every movie but this one simply because I didn’t want the adventure to be over, but I have really enjoyed your reactions so I will be watching this one with you for the first time :) thank you for these!

Thank you for watching this with us. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Sad that it is ending, but excited for another show or movie series. Can we get a moment of silence for that Neville Longbottom glow up. 😆 What a badass! Also if you like audiobooks, I highly highly recommend the series read by Jim Dale. They are wonderful.

They are, they will clear up so many loose ends the movies never got too. I can highly recommend it. My preferred way is getting the audiobooks and listening to those.

On to 'Fantastic Beasts', yes it is sad that they canned Johnny Depp after the first movie (due to the shenanigans with Amber). But it does offer a little more of a look into the same universe. It also expands a little on the story behind Dumbledore (although not nearly enough, again sadly).
But I did find them well worth the watch if you take a step back and not get drawn into the drama that was going on at the time. More importantly they will scratch an itch and fill the need for more magic.

A few things to say, of course they're good things as always!
So many great scenes in this finale, one of which being Helena Bonham Carter pretending to be Hermione pretending to be Bellatrix. To be able to pull off two layers of acting - she's incredible!
The Snape reveal has me weeping every single time. The fact that he was always looking after Harry and only seemed hateful because he had to lose Lily again and again...then be reminded of his greatest pain daily... he was so tortured. His story is possibly the most tragic of all.
In the novel, Voldemort was supposed to drop with "mundane finality", meaning he died like any other human symbolizing that he was only special in his own view not in reality. Harry would have two wands, standing over him and people would see Voldemort was beaten. They changed it for the movie so that Voldemort disintegrated so the audience would know Voldemort was gone for good. However it would have been nice for there to have been witnesses. With no body and only Harry's word that he's dead... seems like a rumor mill waiting to start. But in any case, it's been a remarkable journey to share with you.
I do hope that you will visit the Fantastic Beasts Trilogy, even if it's on your time, as it gives more insight into young-ish Dumbledore and Grindelwald whom Voldemort visited in Azkaban in Deathly Hallows Part 1.
Can't wait to see what you decide to do next!

Absolutely loved rewatching this with you Chandra. I hope you still plan on reacting to the HBO reunion special; it’s a nice way to cap this journey and am happy you will now be able to read the books and get all the extra context and character development which just couldn’t fit into a movie series.

Hi hi! What a treat!! That's really nice of you to have posted the reaction to this ultimate Potter movie despite of the complicated times. I hope your little one is feeling better and that you could have at least a little respite.. Much love to the three of you!

This is perfect timing! I just finished your reaction to "The Half Blood Prince" last night and had my fingers crossed that this was coming up soon so I can do both "Deathly Hallows" back to back.
It's been a pleasure watching these again and seeing you grow so fond of the story. It really is an amazing journey. One I'm happy to take over and over again. I've yet to read the books but they are on my list. And well worth it for what I hear.
Thank you for taking this trip with us.
