Sure could use a nice coat of red 'n floofy fur right now.

Well ok I did have a setback. Accidentally pulled bile drain (it's been clamped off for months) out of my chest in an act of buffoonery. A hole in your chest leaking your liver-goo is bad so I had to go back to the hospital.

Spent 12 hours in an exam room in Emergency, then had the second most painful procedure of my life to get a new catheter and drain installed in my chest. Seriously, it's horrible. "Screaming Pain" level.

I'm home from the hospital finally

Huge thanks to alternate rat for keeping the place going while I was away.

I'm still not "back" back though. I'm currently laying on my back with 2 JP drains ducking mysterious fluid out of my side, a third drain drilled directly in the center of my chest and juggling nine medications.

I've had to relearn how to walk and I still suck at it. Moving around is a massive undertaking, and there is a hard limit on how long I can remain standing.

Update on Rat's Health

Hey everyone! Quick update here. I've got some good news on this side o' things. Rat is recovering and they have him up and walking around. We're hopeful he'll be back home soon.

Once he's back and strong enough, he has one final surgery to get a final few things fixed up inside. Past that, he should be in the clear.

Silksong has been good! Some of the design choices are a bit... weird. Annoying, honestly. Collection quests just feel strange, I guess.

Some of the later game run backs to bosses seem almost malicious. Could be I just missed a rest stop somewhere for these tho.

Rat Recovery

Good news, everyone!

Wanted to update everyone here on Rat's recovery real quick.

So initial round of surgery ended up being way more complicated than originally expected. He had to undergo a couple rounds of being under the knife as it turns out. I don't want to get too deep in the details, as I'd rather have him reveal what he wants to once he's out of the hospital.

For now though, he's recovering, though he's going to take a lil longer to get back on his feet.

I didn't even notice until 5 days after it was announced :V

Maaan I'm so excited. Taking a few days off to get lost in Bug Labyrinth 2: The Revenge.

In the meantime, I tried out Kingdom Death with some peeps. TTS version, because there's no way I'm paying 400 bux for a board game. That's crazy to me.

So what's everyone been up to recently? I just finished Abiotic Factor with some other peeps, and I was thoroughly impressed with it.

As a big fan of the original Halflife, I haven't seen a game nail an art aesthetic so thoroughly in... I can't even think of another time it was this spot on. Between that and the level design, with all the areas interconnecting back on each other... Dang that was good

Turned out instead of "a stone" I contain "THE STONE" that's so large that it completely blocks common bile duct, fubars my digestion and makes my liver give me a sickly yellow hue.
