Candy is my really self indulgent original character I made when I realized most bara artists had a character to represent their art. He was originally pale with blonde hair, but I made the decision to make him pink for a couple reasons: to stand out in the crowd, because pink is one of my favorite colors and goes with almost any other color, and finally because pink is a very erotic color imo, it's like he's always blushing.
He became more popular than I expected in my wildest dreams, and I'm really happy everytime someone compliments him or draws fanart of him! It makes my day!
Here are some common questions I get about him:
Is Candy made of candy?
• Sorry guys, he's a regular old human with pink skin (to me at least). Feel free to imagine him however you like, it's always fun to hear your creative ideas about him.
Then why is he named Candy?
• I named him candy after my username, gooeycandy, and honestly sometimes I wish I named him Gooey. But I guess that's what people call me, so it would've made things confusing.
