Upcoming Beta Upgrades [Ready for 0.6]
Added 2021-04-24 08:06:34 +0000 UTCWe've been working on a LOT and I wanted to give you a bit of an update on where things are. I've broken down items into 4 categories:
- features that are ready or semi-ready for a beta release
- features still being currently worked on
- features that are paused or haven't been started
- ..and other items/tasks that are ongoing - but not necessarily in this release.
Ready
- Core implementation of a one-click "DrFujiBot" style feature.
- Core Translation system
- Session List Overhaul
- Fix for Gold/Silver game IDs
- Custom "Switch" / "Toggle" form component
- Custom Dropdown form component
- Custom "RadioGroup" form component
- Improved Manual Editor experience (with added shortcut functionality)
- In-app LogViewer for Patrons + Testers
- Pokémon GBC Rom fixes
Being worked on
- Dark mode
- Pokedex Overhaul
- 100% of the app to use English Translations
- Setup "wizard" overhaul
- Gen 4+5 Live battle updates (in-filling all the data previously missing)
Todo
- Damage Calculator (Very early Work-in-progress)
Ongoing / Non 0.6 features:
- The "Secret" project - with new emulators, more data + no lua scripting (ongoing)
- Randomizer Log handling (allowing you to use the log file from the universal pokemon randomizer to generate a custom pokedex for that individual session.
- More Nuzlocke tools: Nuzlocke Name Manager (Allowing people to redeem nicknames via channel points and subs automatically)
- Pokémon Emerald Box tracking (Pokémon in your Pokémon PC boxes can be automatically tracked)
- Pokémon Green (possible) support
- Automatic Updates for Patrons
- "Changelog" display in-app when you update the app showing a list of new features / changes since your last update
