TU Guide: The Fae

There’s High Fae and Common Fae. High Fae rule the courts and have surnames, while Common Fae have limited abilities and vary in power based on the individual. Common Fae do not assume a surname even if they marry a High Fae.
The High Three Courts are the largest and most powerful, but there are smaller courts scattered about as well.
The High Three (with their surnames in parentheses) are;
- The Court of the Sea (na Farraige)
- The Court of the Forest (na Foraoise)
- The Court of the Sky (den Spéir)
Some of the smaller courts (also with their names in parentheses) are;
- The Court of the Lakes (de na Lochanna)
- The Court of the Ice (den Reoite)
- The Court of the Mountains (de na Sléibhte)
There are more, of course, that vary by size and population. These are just the next three largest.
