New Video - What the HELL is ME!ME!ME?

Comments

I reckon that after being courageous enough to cover Judas and Jesus, Sailor Ballz, and some other...um...spicy stuff, it was only a matter of time before you opted to start covering spicy music videos, and what a note to start it on! Truth be told, I had never even heard of ME!ME!ME! until you brought it up recently...I guess it was one of those trends that passed me by years ago. At any rate, this was clearly another one of those projects where you had some unfinished business to deal with (not the first time this has happened in your videos...remember that one spoopy webcomic that you tried to read back in the day, but never finished it until last year...only to get the mother of all jump scares?), and you decided to finish the video and see what it was truly about. It was spicy and full of...um..."adult" material, yes, but the music video is much more than that. It was about a man whose inner demons were too much for him, and how those demons-and his addictions-ruined his life as well as his relationship with his girlfriend. The video-and the English lyrics-make it abundantly clear that both the boy and his girlfriend suffer in their relationship, and it all comes crashing down. It all goes to show that songs are more than just things that we listen to in order to relax or to help us focus on work...a well written song can also send a valuable message that can resonate with people. It is too late for the man in the music video to sort things out, but it is surely not too late for those who may have similar problems to try and fix things. Also, cheers to Aficionados Chris for continuing to prove that his editing skills are super awesome. His little editing touches are brilliant, and I love how he even touches up some of your avatar poses (as was also seen in the Hallowaiian video). I am sure we will be seeing more of his wonderful editing talents in the future. At any rate, thanks for sharing this video with us, and let's hope YouTube doesn't mess with it... *crosses fingers* I will see you next week, Saber...until then, take care and stay safe! =)
