New Video - What the HELL is Bible Town?

I'd asked them years later when I'd finally become an adult and moved out and they said that it was "not the right kind of interpretation" as if they could dictate what is the right one.

Wait, arguably one of the BEST animated Christian movies, if not THE best, was banned in your household?! The amount of research that went into that movie was INSANE. It's sad to see other Christians behave with this bizarre sense of religion.

Perhaps for an extra $5, they can invest in models that blink. ...Oh, wait, I think I saw one of the girls blink in one shot. They're just really, really bad at animation.

I remember growing up and before I was a teenager I was FORBIDDEN from watching or playing anything that was not religious. I always took advantage of staying over at cousins and friends houses because my parents never cared to actually check to see what we were doing because they were convinced that my friends and cousins parents were as religious as they were. I remember the vast difference in quality in entertainment available to me because I didn't like any of the bible stories. They bored me to the point that all I knew of them was from repetition and not from any "messages" the bible was trying to convey. Really reading back over the bible (NKJ) there is SO much "filler" that can be skipped. I could never relate or understand their impact but playing games like Deus Ex, Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, I could really get into the story and messages they were trying to tell. What was weird is that my family wouldn't let me watch stuff like the Prince of Egypt because they didn't approve of that depiction of Exodus. Seriously now as an adult I am finding a few good stories in the Bible that are totally movie worthy but It's a shame that we'll probably never get dedicated movies or shows from them that aren't ass.

Gosh...who would've imagined that, of all the ripoff companies out there, the worst of the lot isn't Dingo Pictures, Video Briquendo, or even the Asylum, but instead, WowNow? They have thrice burned you with their movies this year: Finding Jesus 1 and 2, and now, Bible Town. All Christian movies, all of horrible quality, and all of which only prove that WowNow has no shame whatsoever in making ultra-crappy movies. Bible Town seems to be the worst of the lot: uncanny valley faces, horrible voice acting, no attempt at lip synching, virtually non-existent plot (and what "plot" there is really sucks), and a lazy use of 2D illustrations to represent the Bible stories being told. Yes, the Finding Jesus movies had most of these issues and more besides, but Bible Town looks to be a snooze fest from start to finish. If this is how awful WowNow can get, I look forward to the time when you take the entire company to task for making all of these godawful mockbusters, as well as the day when you take a closer look at how bad Christian animation and entertainment can get. Of course, if Bible Town didn't exist in the first place, we wouldn't have you bringing the hammer down on the movie and explaining why it is one more reason why WowNow is perhaps one of the absolute worst animation studios of any sort out there. I know I have said this on numerous occasions, but your courage in tackling the worst and weirdest animated cartoons out there is something that I have grown to admire, and I'm sure we'll be seeing more shining examples of that in the future. Also, I'd like to give a shoutout to Aficionados Chris for his ever-improving editing skills and another to Jmore5099 for handling the editing for the sponsor plug...over the past year or so, the editing of your videos has gotten better and better, and I can't wait to see even more of it soon. Next stop for us (assuming it is still the plan) is taking YouTube to task for their hypocrisy and how they allow mobile ads that get away with breaking YT's strict rules. I will be cheering you on as you proceed to teach YT a lesson. In the meantime, take care of yourself, Saber, and see you soon! =)
