I didn't realize that it was over a month since I uploaded a "What the HELL" with Finding Jesus but it was! Glad the video was well received. I always get a little anxious between Christmas and January since YouTube views drop off and I'm like "Oh no, my channel is dead!" but that's usually the anxiety talking
Speaking of videos, this week's main upload will be a review of a Chinese movie called White Snake. I won't lie, this was quite the rabbit hole for me and I realized that I need to do a dedicated video for Chinese animation in its entirety. It is genuinely a fascinating and complicated topic
That being said, we're gonna keep our focus on White Snake! It's an interesting film that is one part promising and one part disappointing. I'll explain more on Friday. That's really it for now! Hope y'all are well, hit me up if you have any questions!

You should do a colab with Xiran Jay Zhao for Chinese animation video. She's an actual Chinese lady who also reviews movies and animations about Chinese culture and gives and insight how it is perceived in China and also point out how accurate representation is.

It certainly looks like an interesting movie, but if what you've been saying about it is true-and I'm sure it is-the film's story is not half as interesting as its animation or its...um...more suggestive material. At any rate, I can tell you're looking forward to talking about it and fulfilling your desire to share some information about Chinese animation with us all...I'll be there to check it out this week!
