Monthly Update: Gigantic September

Hey everyone,

Welcome to the monthly update! It's been quite a busy month with the academic year starting back up again, and me getting back into teaching classes. The creation of a bunch of themed sets as well as creating the regular 12 items was a bit ambitious but I managed to get it all done (despite being sick for a few days this last week).

Before we get into the news, do not forget to vote on the spooky theme poll, and of course download the monthly release that has just been updated! This month I've included the new Alchemist's Archive set as an extra!

Sets Sets Sets. As promised, I've been busy with sets this month. I was able to complete three full publications which was a bit more than I had planned originally, but I'm so happy to get these completed! The coming month(s) you can expect more of them to be made and published. Next up is probably Fjords and Frost', a nordic themed set.

Also keep an eye out on my patreon shop, where I'll be selling themed sets separately, for now there's just Blood and Silver on there, but the plan is to get every themed set available in the shop as well. The shop is a great option if you don't want to become a (high) tier patron, but still want a specific product. The new item sets of this month were:

December and January Plans. As with previous years, December will feature WorldAnvil's 'Worldember' event. A month of worldbuilding and writing. Last year I managed to grab the 'most words written' achievement with over 135k words. I'm not sure If I'll be able to do the same this year, but I know this event will always leave me with a bunch of content I want to illustrate.

So instead of doing theme polls for december, I'll try to get your input and/or votes on the direction and content for this event. I'm also inspired to create a lot around my new campaign that just started a week ago. Even though it will be focussed on writing I'll for sure illustrate content during the event to keep up the patreon rewards, but in january I want to catch up on illustrating all the written content that I was unable to illustrate (because words are usually quicker than art).

Content made during this event can be serial and high quantity content such as last year's Spellybeans, but also unique creatures, traps and NPC's. This january, I may also look at content created during previous events, because I've got a couple of items, creatures and traps that have been created on the Sea of Starlight, but have never been illustrated or published here on patreon, It's just sitting there!

I really want to make it a content party around the new year for all of you. So in short: You will definitely get new content in these months, but instead of just 12 items it can be any type of content and combination of things we'll come up with and have lying around. (oh, and the best part will be that this content will be publicly available for everyone on the Sea of Starlight, since that is a requirement for these events)

New Item Cards This month, 12 new giant themed items have been added to the collection. I'll admit these were a bit of a struggle, but I'm also experimenting with how I sketch and illustrate things, and I am really happy with how a couple of these turned out because of that experimentation!
