Friday Post #42 - A few notes for the future.

At this point, we might as well not call it the friday post, and just call it the weekly thing.

Sapphire Safari
This week we have been working on the sex interactions, mostly on how the user interacts with the UI. The key feature here is to allow the user access to their tools and interaction options, we have opted for a drag and drop mechanism, now you’ll have a belt or bottom UI for your tools and you simply take your hand and you grab the tool you need. Dropping the tool brings it back to the belt for later use. It's quite a nice feature, and the biggest hurdle we have had is making that feel organic rather than forced.

Elewder
We announced over the weekend that Elewder will be coming to Steam’s Early Access on the 27th of October, which will also match our beta release date for this month. Hence why we have not released a patch for October. We are trying to line up as many features and balance pass as we can in the short time we have left, we will give you more information about that soon.

Under Contract
The originally designed power effects in Under Contract needed to be changed to match the fast pace of the game, originally we had powers working on a delay or some sort of timer, naturally, that won't work. So we started to experiment with how the powers should be used. Right now you grab gems and depending on how many you have you “convert” the gems to a power you’ve preselected. It is functional, a bit difficult to grasp but with some UI modifications it could work.

Wet Nightmares
What a week for our girl, Samara was released to the favor of thousands and so far everyone loves our new game. There are some things we would like to change, mostly the writing of our protagonist, making him less heartless or not so dickish would be ideal. The process is starting.
