C’mon august! We are ready for you! So much to go over, and we are ready!
Sapphire Safari
Our map is MASSIVE, we do not yet have any determined size but we have spent the last week doing the first detail pass on the environment itself. Confirmed biomes on the Sapphire Isle are Beach, Reef, Plains, Desert, Snowy Mountain Peak, Caverns, and an active Volcano. Within each biome region (we would consider the Reef and Beach to be a similar biome structure, hence calling it a region) we will have a total of 9 unique monster girl body types, along with variant versions from other regions. An example of this would be the Fire Pony Monster Girl variant for the Reef Biome called a Kelpie which uses the same body as the Pony with some alterations suitable for an underwater monster girl. This will take some time to nail down how everything comes together, and if the current island is fun to explore, once we have a basic layout completed we will be looking to plan the Points of Interest locations and complete the content that way.
Once we get in the missing AI systems and a stable photography system again we will be in action.
Elewder
The idea that a few simple color swaps can change how a game looks, feels, and how the players react to things is amazing. This week was spent finishing up the Shop and Coin update for Elewder along with changing the basic color pallet of the game, which I might add became a great success! The new look of Elewder is far different and it only took a small amount of tinkering with the shader and color schemes. We also have been toying around with a brand new look for our ghostly protagonist the Warlock. Given how much detail has gone into the alternate heroes, it is only fair our main boi gets some TLC as well.
Under Contract
Art has finally begun production in earnest! We are making progress with our Main Protagionst, our 8 perky Co-Worker characters, and the 5 Demonic sexy Bosses the game will feature! Along with this, we are finalizing how the overworld for the game works and putting together a basic overview of each Department in the game. Hopefully, once it all comes together we will see just how fun the game will actually be.
Wet Nightmares
Wet Nightmares is officially running on Android phones! I was able to play a build of the game running natively on my very crappy Android device, it has helped identify the major control issues we will have (mostly about UI/background scaling) and optimization corrections needing to be made. On top of this, we are working with our writing staff to make sure the English version of the game flows correctly, reads well, and hits on all the important subtexts and information. Our timeline for the first release will be focused on making sure the two extra SKU versions (html5, android) are ready as well. So we are looking perhaps middle of August at the latest.
