Good luck with the wound! My sister had one in a similar place recently and she says the worst thing was not being able to shower until dressing change day so I'm hoping blue is coping with that ok. She just stole my reacher grabber for floor retrieval lol

2025-01-12 18:35:25 +0000 UTCHe's been seeing a doctor twice or three times a week - they tested the infection, identified the specific bacteria, but for some reason getting the specific antibiotic intended FOR that specific bacteria hasn't made the wound start healing back up. It's not getting worse, but also not better.

If it's not responding to antibiotics that needs to go to urgent care/emergency department to get examined right away. You don't want to wait to be seen by a doctor since it could spread and become septic. Go see a doctor today/tonight/ASAP!
