We played a round at this game shop - I barely managed to paint my own ones in the nick of time, my boyfriend decided to go with an unpainted one instead of the half-painted one he couldn't do in time.

We have a friend who is very, very good painting miniatures. With my personality, I couldn't take one unlesswat was done to my satisfaction.

2024-10-28 16:28:06 +0000 UTCI guess brushes are consumables (to a degree)? Maybe communicate the level of care neede in advance ("This is my only one, please be careful, I need it soon as well"). But even then, stuff can break when it's used. (I personally err too much in the other direction and not use borrowed stuff to avoid using it up or not borrowing at all)
