Braced for impact
Added 2024-05-28 11:25:51 +0000 UTCI am pre-emptively prepared for conflicts that aren't there far more often than is probably reasonable. Fortunately my approach to arguments is to be extremely civil and polite until the opponent makes their first move, after which I will drop that veneer of civility like anime character's battle restraints. So when the inevitable conflict is all in my head, and the person who doesn't even know I think they hate me never makes that first move, the conflict stays as a figment of my imagination.
