Air quality meter
Added 2022-12-16 08:48:13 +0000 UTCMy partner likes having all sorts of tech knick-knacks for no particular reason - we have an air quality meter just to see how thw air is doing, a blood pressure meter despite of neither of us needing to monitor such things regularly, and so on.
And that smug smiling little bastard on the screen puts on a gas mask when I'm cooking.

If your place is small you could look into a simple air purifyer.

2022-12-17 19:10:37 +0000 UTCWe have a smoke detector in the little foyer by the front door. It is of course a prime spot to gather all the smoke from cooking bacon or anything sautéed, and the alarm goes off more regularly than I would like.
