2026-02-01 11:52:33 +0000 UTCGreat chapter, one thing that seems to be a holdover from before the kiss and learn language change, near the end of the chapter; 3rd last paragraph starts with cassie translated after kori now speaks English in the previous chapter. Looking forward to the next one.

2026-02-01 04:38:19 +0000 UTCThe magic of Shazam will cancel his curse form, but... it won't be fun for him. As for the kiss and learn language thing, corrected the fic to include that.

2026-02-01 04:37:54 +0000 UTCYeah, he's gonna get a name - something to tie into gods and his heritage. We'll see.

2026-02-01 04:37:15 +0000 UTCAlrighty, going to address some of Novus's here, while others will be addressed in the fic. Look for the *{ if you want to see the changes, bar Cassie's. The changes will end at a } - which i will remove when Hiryo and I go over the chapter again in the distant future. Plastic man - I changed that bit to show he was indeed alive although only Green Arrow realized this. Cassie's Durability - removed a lot of her injuries. Kept the blows to her head rattling her and two broken bones, but that's it. Also toned down Ranma's internal injuries to a point. This was such a wide range of small mistakes in the Mongul fight, just having one * isn't really Kori's Language Assimilation - again changed in the fic.

2026-02-01 04:36:23 +0000 UTCFantastic to see Ranma in his Shazam form. But please give him a better name. He doesn't have to be Captain Marvel but needs something better than his own trigger word.

2026-01-30 18:58:16 +0000 UTCSo, I don’t know if it was mentioned, but when he transforms he can’t turn into a girl as Shazam? Also can’t Starfire just kiss him and gain the knowledge of how to talk English and Japanese? Also she could kiss Cassie and Kara and speak kyrptonian and Amazonian. Which would be very interesting to read and funny imo.

2026-01-30 17:08:59 +0000 UTCa day later and im in withdrawl. ive re-read half the story already since this chapter, and i need more. seeing their meeting get delayed till the last bit of the chapter, and then leaving off just after that was painful.

2026-01-30 13:17:13 +0000 UTCGreat chapter! I know it’s a super hero thing, but there were sever times some of our hero’s survived shot that should have knocked them the fuck out. The “ribs disintegrating” might have been an exaggeration, but still, Ranma would have to have strait up regeneration to survive getting all his internal organs ganked. One other complaint, the consistency of the “//” that represent alien language could have been better. I really like the hints at romance and I thought the fight was very well done other than my above complaint. I also really enjoyed how the fights slowly ramped up as the invasion got into full swing and more hero’s showed up to help. The Atlantis world building was kinda neat too. I’m really excited to see where the story goes from here! The leads are gonna be so cute together!

2026-01-30 10:13:35 +0000 UTCgreat chapter. was looking forward to it all week. unfortunately now a much longer wait to see more character interaction in the next chapter. one thing though that either wasnt clear from chapter 2 when ranma got the power of shazam, and i cant remember if it was touched upon later, what happens when ranma calls for the power in his cursed form?

2026-01-29 17:36:51 +0000 UTCA really interesting chapter. And a wake up call for Ranma which is frankly normal for hero stories that aren't Mary Sue ones. I prefer those stories where the character has flaws but actually goes through a growing and improvement phase. I think a lot of readers were waiting for him to get his head out of his ass and transform. Really looking forward to reactions to the new teenage hero team. Especially when Batman and Flash talk about Ranma being Shazam and their meetings. Or the WTF moment when Superman and the other heavy hitters return. That is on top of the fact that Ranma and Kara are traveling together with their mother figures matchmaking.

2026-01-29 14:27:49 +0000 UTCHe can't be. I'm assuming Ranma only thought he was dead. As long as even a few bits of him are left he always reforms. He's honestly one of the most genuinely immortal characters in DC.

2026-01-29 14:04:02 +0000 UTCAlright! Loved the chapter, for starters! Very epic :-). I particularly liked that you actually had the military respond. It's an annoyance of mine in comic everything that they often just seem to be absent or completely ineffectual. That said, there are some lore issues. They are all things that you could easily Author Fiat as being AU elements if you want, but I'll cover them just in case they weren't intended. 1) The one the bothered me the most was where the hell Kori's instant-language-learning power went. I thought at first she couldn't use it because of her powers being suppressed, but she didn't do so even after the shackles were removed. The Linguistic Assimilation trick is a pure Tamaranean Physiology thing, and only requires touch (her kissing Robin in most versions was purely because she wanted to, she only actually NEEDS any sort of touch). It's an odd power for her to randomly be missing, as I've never seen a version of without it, but its minor enough it could just be an AU element, I suppose. 2) This one is...unclear? I honestly had a hard time getting a read on Kori's power level here. At times it seemed accurate, at other times too high. She's canonically made it clear more than once that she's not in the same weight class as a Kryptonian. She's a heavy hitter, but she's roughly one tier below that level. That...SORT of seemed to be the case here, but it was a bit hard to judge. Very minor and just a 'for future consideration' sort of thing, rather than being off kilter enough to actually need correction here. 3) Cassie is the opposite. I was weirded out by how weak she was. Her strength was on target, but her speed and durability were very weirdly low. Most versions of her are capable of similar speed as Wonder Woman, and her durability is technically BETTER. It's the same to most types of damage, but WW is specifically vulnerable to piercing weapons (including bullets, which is why she blocks them with the bracers) were Cassie isn't weak to that. Of specific note, she's canonically stated to be resistant enough to heat to resist being touch by lava. She's also normally Flight capable. This might be a case where she simply hasn't grown into her power yet, but it was jarring enough to at least mention. Like I said at the top, these are all easily things that could be justified as AU elements, so they aren't truly a huge deal. I just figured I'd point them out in case you want to address them in one fashion or another.

2026-01-29 14:03:12 +0000 UTCGreat chapter! Deeply disheartened by the fact one of the funniest heroes in DC got bodied off camera (I didn't even know Plastic Man could be killed that easily, heat vision I understand, but blunt force? Damn), but still an amazing fight! Looking forward to Fate!
