Added 2020-05-11 05:54:17 +0000 UTCI’ve seen a lot of people fall into a dangerous line of thinking, that bad things happen to some people because they’re bad people, and because nothing bad has happened to ~me~ because I am a ~good~ person. Then when bad luck hits they’ll cry ”I don’t deserve this, I’m a good person.”
Nobody deserves bad luck. Nothing bad happens on purpose.

You had me right up until that last sentence. Some people do deserve "bad luck", and bad things do happen on purpose sometimes (even if you don't know whose purpose). But yes, I've seen this mentality far too often.
