War Aspect

Scholars have debated on what actually causes the rise of the War Aspect from a battlefield. Some have postulated that it has to do with the staining of sacred ground, while others maintain that it is merely a rejection of the afterlife by those that feel they were robbed of their life in an unjust battle waged by those with little to personally lose in their gleaming castles.

One more fringe theory is that they simply arise from bodies that are left too long without being given their proper burial rites. While the very nature of their formation is debated, their destructive power cannot be denied.
