Ep2 Progress Report #38

Hi.

It’s time to say a few words about the work on the next part of WCgW.

So, I’m currently working on posing scenes with Lana — and let me add that this event will include more than just dialogues 😁. For those who haven’t read the previous reports or didn’t have access to them, I’ll say this: in this part of the main character’s story, the path or event with Lana will only be accessible through Fay’s route. This is due to the script I’ve written, and I don’t intend to change the direction I’ve previously laid out.

In my game, the MC won’t be hooking up with girls one after another — hence, there’s no “harem” tag. From the very beginning, the player has to choose which girl they want to pursue. That said, it doesn’t mean I’ll deprive players of the option to change partners (break up with the current girlfriend), but specific conditions must be met for that to happen.

As an example, if you didn’t know — it’s possible to break up with Amanda and get together with Kaitlin. This choice appears during the trip with Kaitlin.

Now, back to what I’ve managed to accomplish so far.

The events with Kait, Fay, and Shanon are already done. I’m currently rendering the prepared scenes. The event with Lana is, hmm… about 60% finished.

As for the event with Amanda — I haven’t mentioned it yet because I haven’t started rendering her scenes. Initially, I was planning to postpone Amanda’s episode to the next update, but posing the previously mentioned scenes went smoothly, so Episode 2 Part 3 will also include the event with Amanda.

When it comes to dialogues, I’m in the middle of translating the texts for the Shanon and Fay events. Kaitlin’s part is already translated, and once I finish with the remaining ones, I’ll send them off to the proofreader. The dialogues with Lana and Amanda are still left, but I’ll get to them once I consider their scenes/events finished.

Besides that, I also need to implement all of this into Ren’Py — which shouldn’t take too much time — but for now, I’m focusing on work in DAZ 3D.

Now a few words for future patrons regarding the release of Episode 2 Part 3.

I’m really counting on your support, especially considering the financial situation I currently find myself in.

For obvious reasons, I can’t share the spicier renders in a public post.
