Ep1 Progress Report #5

Hey.

Let me tell you, this year has not started optimistically for me. If I keep losing patrons at this rate, I will soon have no one to write these reports for.

Tough times have come. I know because I stopped supporting 2 projects for financial reasons. It is what it is. There is nothing I can do about it.

I can only continue to work on the next version of my VN.

It's a good thing that right from the start of my developer adventure I set myself up to treat it as a marathon and not a sprint.

Now, something about the upcoming release.

I have finished translating scene #1. Now all that remains is to send it to the proofreader.

When the file comes back from the proofreader, I'll start typing the text and conditions into renpy.

The number of renders is close to 500. I'm finishing writing and posing part 3 of scene #2(I'll need about 2-3 days to finish it).

Once I've dealt with that, I'll get on with part 4 of scene #2.

What more is there to write here? This phase of work is quite monotonous/boring.

Writing/posing/rendering. Unless I run into some problems, then it gets interesting, but I'll admit I prefer it to be boring and monotonous.

Also, I would like to write something about why I decided to release my VN, what I didn't like about the VNs I played, and what I don't want to duplicate in my "game".

I can't wait to vent about it, but I need to find some extra time to do this.
