Chris’s idea that the proximity to major events and the weather outside the seasons and the time of year, resulting in consistent personality patterns probably has a lot more salt than you guys actually realize because brain developments during the first few months of life can affect your personality for the rest of your life, (especially prenatal development) While I don’t think Chris was aware of this at all, doesn’t change the fact that it’s a brilliant realization. I usually listen to this podcast because you guys act dumb and it’s absolutely hilarious. It yall also occasionally drop great bits of insight.

I might be wrong in your vision but I think “harm reduction” is a terrible way to run a campaign. Obama in 2008 was the last organic dem presidential campaign and he had so many progressive promisses (even thought he gave up on most of them pretty quickly after he became potus). Since then every time the dems try this centrist strategy of appealing to republicans they get fucked (both Hillary and Kamala). God, even Biden had more populist promisses then Kamala, I do think they have a lot to learn here but will probably learn all the wrong lessons.

It’s all economic, it’s all about class. Up until now, I’ve been pragmatic about voting for harm reduction, that even if I can’t get everything I want, getting anything at all is a win. But it apparently wasn’t enough for most people, so now we will see if minds are changed now that we are diving headfirst into an accelerationist world. I’ll believe it when I see it.
