February 2025 Roundup
Added 2025-02-28 22:13:08 +0000 UTCThis is the first update of 2025 and there has been a bunch of activity in the goblin cave, brining a few updates to the notebook!
Image Pin Colours

Image pins can now be set to different colours, and have their name label remain visible.
The context menu contains new options, Always show name keeps the name label visible and the coloured circles below allow for selecting the pin colour. These colours are the same configured colours used on object flags.
Contributor Journal Entries

Contributors can now add journal entries. Just enter the journal entry the same way the campaign owner does.
Index Objects

Objects can include automatically generated index sections.
{{id.index}}
This displays a list of children of the objects referenced by the id. Includes options styling options, for more details see the release notes.
Dice Roll Modifiers

Rolls are often altered slightly based on game rules, for example in D&D 5e advantage means rolling the d20 twice and using the higher number before adding your modifier, or critical hits mean rolling all the dice twice then adding the normal modifier.
For things like advantage and disadvantage, you can just click the roll button twice and use the higher or lower value, but critical hits are slightly more complicated as you don’t add everything twice. So these variations can be configured in the notebook and rolled from the context menu without you having to manually do anything when the roll is called for.
Just right-click the dice rolling icon to see the available variants that can be rolled. For more details including example usage, see the documentation.
Foundry v12 Dice Rolling Support
The dice rolling integration module for FoundryVTT has been updated to support Foundry v12. This also includes some functionality and styling improvements over the previous version. For details on how to install and use this module, see the documentation.

Comments
What OS/browser are you using? And is the in-app context menu working in other parts of the notebook?

2025-07-31 07:26:34 +0000 UTCI'm trying to get the Map Pin thing to work. But when I right click over a map I'm getting the browser's context menu. I have override selected in the settings. What am I missing?
