Watching you break down that chord at the end of Song of Forgetting was sooo satisfying to me. Who knows if you were reading too much into it but it absolutely is interesting that Natalie got the dissonance! I love little details like that.

2025-07-03 00:06:52 +0000 UTCThe layering of harmonies in this musical is no joke, the Diana/Natalie duet at the end of Wish I Were Here is super hard to sing.Not only is the time signature really interesting but they're also trading the soprano and alto lines with increasing frequency throughout that part. At one point they sing in unison but then they diverge again, this very much feels like they're trying to connect, kinda get there but then it falls apart again.
