[Bonus Vid] The Story Behind ALIEN'S Deleted "Cocoon Sequence"

This Bonus Video explores one of Alien’s most haunting deleted scenes. The infamous “cocoon sequence” features Giger’s grotesque nest design, which transformed Dallas and Brett into horrifying egg-like victims. Before the Queen Alien retconned the lore, this concept suggested that the Alien could reproduce on its own by turning its prey into new eggs. Giger and his team poured intense work (and gallons of latex) into building two cocoons, one with a barely alive Dallas beggin...

I'm moving back to California!

After 11 years in NYC, we're moving back to the San Francisco Bay Area! We had an absolute blast in NYC, but both our families are in the Bay Area and we want our son to see them more often (not to mention that the weather is so much better in the Bay). Also, after over a decade of apartment living, we'll be living in a house that will have a dedicated space for me to film and work on videos.

I know you've been waiting for the making of the alien suit and head for a loooooong time. Coi...

[Ad-Free/Uncensored] How Brando Hijacked APOCALYPSE NOW

Brando exercised total control. First, he showed up to the location overweight having not read Heart of Darkness. Then he spent several of his limited days discussing the character with Coppola, scrapping most of Coppola's ideas. Then during the shoot, he pranked the crew and went at his own pace knowing he couldn't be fired. He used cue cards and an earpiece to feed himself lines that he came up with without having to learn them. And finally, he mumbled his performance to ensure that he woul...

[Ad-Free] The Fight For a SAD ENDING to “The Thing”

On June 9th, 1982, John Carpenter appeared on Late Night with David Letterman to promote The Thing, his first big studio film. But behind the scenes, trouble was brewing. A recent test screening had left audiences cold—not because of the film’s icy setting, but due to its bleak, ambiguous ending. Universal was worried. Some wanted a more definitive conclusion, even an alternate ending where MacReady survives unambiguously. But Carpenter fought for his vision. Why was he so determined to l...
