PC Update
Added 2020-11-23 20:21:34 +0000 UTCPar for the course, I guess, but the PC build hasn't worked. I've ruled out as much as possible, and I'm waiting for a replacement motherboard. The PC wouldn't even turn on. Although RGB lights and USB ports seemed to work, no other components, fans, or LEDs would power on. I've tested the case power button, PSU, and GPU with my other build and they all work. The motherboard is really the only problem left. Other components could be faulty, but I can't tell when the motherboard is doing nothing. Amazon says the replacement might take another week to get here.
I don't think I'll be able to finish an animation before the end of November after this mess. I can still try to work with the 3070 in my current build, but the time wasted on the new build makes it unlikely I can do it before the end of November like I wanted. Also, consider the time I still have to take to rebuild the PC once the replacement comes. There's also American Thanksgiving this week too. With the current global pandemic, it's going to be smaller this year, but I will still be a bit busy.
This has soured my motivation pretty hard. I'll just have to see what I can do.
