Weekly Update + - 11/2/21

October sure flew by, didn't it? Last week was a busy one! In addition to work on getting the update ready and coding the Spooktacular (which I had intended to be just a general, non-interactive short story until it took on a mind of its own), I was also dealing with some unexpected trials of homeownership and the usual Halloween chaos.
I still need to finish coding the last route of the Spooktacular. I haven't forgotten about it, I promise! Y'all will get your spooky polyam smooches, that's my first priority this week, as soon as things slow down for like, 2 hours so I can just sit down and code.
After that, it depends on how busy the rest of this week wants to be. It's easier to find time to write than time to code, so if things start to slow down I want to work on recoding the profile page to incorporate the new CC stuff. I keep putting that off and then running out of time, so I want to get it done first thing this time.
I really, really want to finish Chapter 3 this month, if possible. I think I can do it, as long as no more sewer pipes burst or sinks break or week-long migraines arrive. Knock on wood, wish me luck!

as I said before, this will lead into two versions of Chapter 4. Both routes lead to information that will help you figure out what's going on, but what that information is and where it leads will be very different.
