Weekly Update + - 7/13/21

hello and happy Tuesday!

This has been... a whirlwind of a week. Late last Friday, there was a huge storm here that left us as well as almost 200,000 other people without power for most of the weekend, and thousands of people are still without power. I'm very lucky that we got restored as quickly as we did, and we were still out for more than a day.

And then yesterday, my daughter started school! Sort of. Technically she starts kindergarten in a month, but this is sort of part of it. Regardless, my baby is growing up! It's a very big deal for us, and has had its fair share of ups and downs too.

It means that hopefully going forward I'll be able to get more writing done on a more consistent schedule, though, which will be nice! Though it's going to take a bit of time to get used to these early mornings 😴

I've mostly finished rewriting the part that I lost last month, I'm going to finish writing and editing it, and then probably code it just to have it done with before I move on to the next part again. Hopefully, I can put that all behind me this week and get back to some forward momentum!

And that's my plan for this week! Finish playing catchup and get back to where I want to be! 😁
