A Quick Update on the Update

So I do most of my writing in google docs, to prevent the accidental loss of progress through a crash or corrupted save. For the most part, it's worked really well, but through a combination of power outages and sync issues, the inevitable finally happened and I lost one of the scenes (well, series of scenes, since it was split scenes with the ROs) that was supposed to be in this month's update. Nearly 8000 words, disappeared without a trace 😒

I'm in the process of rewriting it, but that's a lot of words to rewrite, and while I'm hopeful that I'll have it done and be able to have the full update out to y'all before the end of the month, I'm trying to be realistic about it. It may not happen in time. So I'm going to finish up the content I do have ready and get that out to y'all tomorrow, and I'll get a second update out once I have the rest of it finished. Or rather, refinished. The public release will be delayed until after the second update with all the content in it. Not ideal, but these things happen.

Since the update y'all are getting this time around is so small (only about 1200 words), I'm also going to share what I have so far of Partially Stars 😁 it's somewhere between 1/3 and 1/4 of the first episode, so it's still an early build (the profile/crew pages aren't finished, it's mostly just a lot of introductions) but it's something! I feel bad that I don't have more for you this month, but it was outside of my control.

Sunday's lore post will happen on time, though! The only thing affected is this month's update, it doesn't look like I lost any other work.
