Weekly Update + - 5/25/21

This week, I finished edits and coding and got the next update out to my patrons and betas! I struggled to find a good place to stop, and ended up going back to an earlier part as a cut-off instead, which means a shorter update but a less abrupt one. And everything else I've written will just end up in next month's update instead 😉
So my plan for next week is to apply any edits and bug fixes needed to get the update ready for public release! The release date will be Monday, May 31st! as always, probably first thing just after midnight.

for update plus this week, I wanted to show one last character introduction that unfortunately got cut from this month's update (but will be in the next one):
As soon as $lhe leans against the arm of the couch, the cat - a fluffy gray tabby - suddenly gets up and trots across the room. She climbs the furniture until she can wrap herself around $lhis neck like a scarf, purring loud enough that the whole room can probably hear it.
This is the Detective Route version, obviously on the Witch Route you already know who the cat is 😁
